Ian’s background in communications combined with his passion for people-centred urban environments drives him to achieve innovative and creative strategic outcomes.

Originally from Perth, Ian relocated to Melbourne at the end of 2022 to pursue a career in urban planning. Holding a degree in Communications and Media, Ian brings a robust background in design, problem-solving, and creative thinking to the field.

Ian is passionate about various aspects of urban planning, including housing diversity, the creation of people-centred urban environments, and the development of public open spaces. He is currently enhancing his skills and expanding his knowledge while pursuing a Master of Urban and Regional Planning at RMIT University.

Since joining Mesh, Ian has demonstrated his capabilities across a range of projects. He is continuously learning all facets of urban planning while mastering the ‘Meshie’ approach to delivering tailored creative planning outcomes.
