Derrick loves to bring his thoughts and creativity to the table.
Derrick has a Bachelor of Environments (Urban Design and Planning) from Melbourne University and a Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems and Science (GIS) specialising in Software Application Development. He discovered his passion in infrastructure planning and utilises his strong technical background to support and achieve the most accurate and equitable results.
Derrick has developed up Mesh’s unique excel-based software system for demonstrating DCP scenarios and how they will impact on Council’s cashflow and revenue over time as well as automated DCP templates. Furthermore, Derrick has written and programmed several more geospatial algorithms and automated workflows that is designed to align with planning controls in the Planning Scheme as well as assessing the performance of Structure Plans based on the 20-minute neighbourhood hallmarks specified in the PSP Guidelines.
