Jacob Peterson
Director – Innovation and Design
Winning a local urban design competition at age 14 began Jacob’s life-long pursuit for quality well considered and clearly communicated design. Now a well-established urban design leader with 15 years working in both local government and consultancy. Jacob uses his extensive qualifications in urban design, landscape architecture (registered) and planning to achieve his personal mission to help inspire ambitious yet realistic visions for changing communities. His life-long pursuit continues at Mesh in every project Jacob works on, firing his particular passion for reimagining how we should plan and design our diverse streets, housing, neighbourhoods, activity centres, cities and regional towns.
In his role as Director of Innovation and Design Jacob oversees the Landscape Architecture and Urban Design teams and uses his unique ability to envision the bigger picture and infuse innovative ideas into our designs and business processes.
